T.J. Foley
T.J. Foley is a fellow at the X-Lab working on competition policy. He and Sascha Meinrath are
exploring historical approaches to antitrust law, focusing on the history of the Federal Trade
Commission. His academic interests revolve around legal history and science and technology
studies. His work has appeared in peer-reviewed journals, including Energy Research and Social
Science, the American Journal of Legal History, and the Journal of Online Trust and Safety. In
addition to his academic work, he has led startup projects to expand access to justice for low-
income plaintiffs in landlord/tenant disputes.
